Somehow a supergroup would make me feel even older. Because I associate supergroups with the 70s, I guess, and the Yardbirds and the Traveling Wilburys and the current iteration of Van Halen and things like that.
Celebrity Skin is already pretty close to being a Hole/SP supergroup, what with Billy writing all the lyrics and the whole Auf der Maur thing.
. . .probably. Right? And that would have been ever sadder. Plus, we would have gotten Live Through This II, unless she'd left him for Billy anyway. Not that it is worth it, but. . .those are silver linings you can point to.
The title of my lj comes from the Tom Petty song "Free Fallin'". The subtitle comes from the Indigo Girls song "Virginia Woolf." I love music, books and Los Angeles, so it all fits perfectly.

Also, I was thinking the other day that I really want a Hole/Smashing Pumpkins supergroup. Can we get that? It'll make me feel young again.

I am, however, one of those people who remember EXACTLY where I was and what I was doing when I found out that he was dead.
You know, I didn't realise that when he died, we were the same age... In fact, I had no idea how old he was when he died.
