Yay, beach trip!
My traveling companions (only one of whom is pictured here, because the photo with the other one makes me look like i have a beer gut and severe scoliosis, along with elbow displaysia) were kind of surprised/concerned that as soon as we were in sight of wet sand, I took off running to do the thing where you stand in the shallow end of the tide and watch your feet as it rolls back into the ocean, giving you and your inner ears the strong impression you're moving backward.
I didn't realize how much I'd missed doing that, really, either. But I'm never at the beach(es) with people who are interested on walking on the sand part.
Wheee!

PS: I'm on the left. You know, so I can totally interfere with all the mental images of the person you thought was writing this. Like that one episode of 90210! You know the one.
