In the light of yesterday's Tom Petty admission, I've realized I have a number of (potentially) embarrassing crushes. I'm not 100% sure about how embarrassed I should be about them, since due to my private nature, I don't make a habit of sharing said crushes with others. But that ends today. I'm inaugurating a new regular feature here on worldforawhile: Potentially Embarrassing Crush Mondays (PECM)! Every Monday, I'll reveal one of my dirty little secrets, and I'll rely on you, dear readers, to tell me exactly how chagrined I should be!

Eli Manning

Length of crush: ~6 weeks
Reason(s) for crush: Goober/Gomer Pyle aura higly appealing; Parody impersonation on KROQ's Kevin & Bean morning show, where he constantly howls, "mom says don't hurt Peyton!" highly amusing and endearing; I do not like Tom Brady (sorry, missmp!), "Eli" is an unusual and hot (and hotly unusual) name.
